These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of adop.tools and its reporting features ("the Service"), operated by adop.tools ("we", "us", or "our") in New Zealand. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Description of the Service
adop.tools provides:
- Free ad operations calculators (CPM, CTR, eCPM, pacing, UTM builder, and others).
- A reporting feature that connects to Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and Google Ads via OAuth to display live data in configurable report templates.
The reporting feature is provided as-is, currently in beta. Features, pricing, and availability are subject to change.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By connecting your Google account, you confirm you have the authority to grant the requested read-only OAuth scopes for the Google properties you connect.
Your account is tied to your Google OAuth credentials. You are responsible for keeping your browser session secure and for any activity that occurs under your session.
3. Free tier limitations
The free tier is currently provided without charge and includes:
- One active report
- GA4 as a data source
- Public share links
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the free tier at any time, with reasonable notice where practicable. Paid tiers, if and when introduced, will be governed by separate pricing terms.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service in a way that violates Google's Terms of Service, API policies, or OAuth policies.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service.
- Use the Service to access data you do not have legitimate authority to access.
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically copy content from the Service.
- Attempt to circumvent any rate limits, access controls, or security measures.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
5. Your data
You retain all ownership and rights to the data in your connected Google accounts. We do not claim any ownership over your GA4, Search Console, or Ads data. Your report configurations stored in localStorage are yours; we do not access them unless you explicitly create a share link.
You may disconnect your Google account and delete your stored credentials at any time via the account settings in the reporting dashboard.
6. Intellectual property
The Service's source code, design, and content (excluding data sourced from your Google accounts) are owned by adop.tools. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
7. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
8. Google API compliance
adop.tools' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
In particular: we use data obtained from Google APIs only to provide and improve the Service's reporting features. We do not transfer this data to third parties except as necessary to provide the Service (Cloudflare infrastructure). We do not use or transfer data for advertising purposes. We do not allow humans to read your data unless you explicitly share a report link with them or we have your affirmative agreement for limited support purposes.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data retrieved from Google APIs will be complete or accurate. Report data depends entirely on what Google's APIs return; discrepancies in your analytics data are outside our control.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY NEW ZEALAND LAW, CALIBRATE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will not exceed NZD $100.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
